ReplyWoW: Forever Name Reservations
Name reservations were scheduled to go live at 17:00 UK time, but in true Blizzard style, things didn’t quite go to plan! After a delay of a few hours, I finally managed to log in on the EU side at around 21:00 UK time and access the name reservation system. Thankfully, the wait was worth it, and I managed to secure all the names I wanted! 😁

TopicDust Off Your Walking Frames, Bingo Is Cancelled! We’re Going to Azeroth!
We’re getting closer to launch, so here’s a quick reminder that we’ll be playing on the EU Horde Normal PvE server. Hopefully, everyone managed to secure their name reservations last night! Over the next few days, I’ll be making a final push to get the forums finished, with all the categories and topics properly organised. I know the current artwork is a bit of AI slop, but I’m no graphic designer! Improving the visuals is something we can work on together over time. The next priority is getting the guild up and running as soon as possible. If you’d like…

TopicWoW: Forever Name Reservations
With the launch of WoW: Forever on 4 November fast approaching, it’s time to start thinking about character names! Players who have pre-purchased the Skyborne Heroic Pack, Skyborne Epic Pack, or Warcraft Forever Collection are eligible for early name reservations, giving them the chance to claim their favourite names before the servers open to everyone. For EU players, name reservations are expected to open at around 17:00 UK time. If you’re eligible, make sure you’re ready to jump in and grab your preferred names before someone else gets there first!

Double Counter Data Breach Exposes Data Linked to 28 Million Discord Accounts A major security breach at Double Counter, a popular Discord verification bot used by communities to identify alternate accounts, has exposed personal information associated with approximately 28 million Discord accounts. According to a report by Cybernews, an attacker spent nearly six hours inside Double Counter’s infrastructure on 4 October, stealing large volumes of user data and taking control of the service’s Discord bot. The incident raises serious questions about the amount of personal information collected by third-party Discord bots and the risks users face when these services are…

From now on, when you log in with your username and password, you'll automatically receive a one-time login code by email. Simply enter the code to complete the login process. This means that even if someone obtains your password, they won't be able to access your account without the additional verification code. Prefer an Authenticator App? TopicA Nostalgia-Filled Weekend in the Forever Beta
Well, that was a thoroughly enjoyable, nostalgia-soaked weekend! After messing around with a few classes and levelling a Paladin to level 20, I thought I’d share some of my initial impressions of the World of Warcraft: Forever beta. First things first, can we take a moment to appreciate the new environmental effects? The fog looks fantastic, although it can feel a little heavy in certain areas. The updated water is absolutely gorgeous, even if I can understand the argument that it might look a little too good for a Classic aesthetic. And the lighting… honestly, I love it. It’s relatively…

TopicRaid Tier Set Models
These have got me hyped! I’m not posting the SD versions, though, honestly I can barely see any difference. According to WOWHEAD: We have not yet datamined any items associated with these sets, though the are all tagged Hyjal, which will be the first 20-player raid in WoW Forever, so we expect them to have traditional tier set bonuses.

TopicWe Didn’t Need Discord Back in the Day
Let’s get straight to the point. Attitude Gaming is deliberately moving away from Discord and embracing a website, forums and TeamSpeak instead. It might seem a little old-school in 2026, and I appreciate that it won't be everyone's cup of tea, so I want to explain why we're taking this approach. This isn't about being different for the sake of it. It's about the kind of community we want to build, the tools we want to use, and having greater control over our own little corner of the internet. Bringing Back the Traditional Guild Atmosphere One of my goals with…

TopicThe Attitude Gaming Code: Don’t Be a Dick
Attitude Gaming was created to be a friendly, relaxed and cosy home for people who want to enjoy online gaming together. We value being family-friendly, playing as a group and getting involved in the community. These expectations aren't about policing people or telling everyone how to behave. They're here to make sure everyone understands what kind of guild they're joining and the sort of environment we want to build together. We want Attitude Gaming to be a place where you can bring your friends, your partner or even your kids. A place where you log in, say hello, have a…

TopicOur Guild. Our Community. Our Home.
Our guild website is officially up and running, and I’m excited to finally share it with everyone! This will be our main hub for guild news, discussions and, most importantly, event sign-ups. This is just the first version of the site, with plenty more planned for the future. I’ll be adding new features to the forums and Event Sign-up Calendar, along with quality-of-life improvements and a few fun extras to make the site even better to use. The website is being built in my spare time, so this is very much a minimum viable launch. There’s still work to do,…

TopicWelcome to Attitude Gaming
Attitude Gaming is a PvE-focused Horde guild built around enjoying raid content in a relaxed, community-driven, old-school MMO environment. Our home is Azeroth, where we're playing World of Warcraft: Forever and bringing back the kind of guild experience that made WoW special in the first place. Why Attitude Gaming Exists I stepped away from WoW years ago after playing obsessively through Classic, The Burning Crusade, Wrath of the Lich King, Cataclysm, and Mists of Pandaria. For me, Wrath was peak Blizzard and remains the greatest era of WoW. By the time Warlords of Draenor arrived, something had changed. The magic…
