Attitude Gaming was created to be a friendly, relaxed and cosy home for people who want to enjoy online gaming together. We value being family-friendly, playing as a group and getting involved in the community.

These expectations aren’t about policing people or telling everyone how to behave. They’re here to make sure everyone understands what kind of guild they’re joining and the sort of environment we want to build together.

We want Attitude Gaming to be a place where you can bring your friends, your partner or even your kids. A place where you log in, say hello, have a bit of banter, join in with whatever’s happening and feel like you’re part of something.

    Don’t Be a Dick

This guild is built around the idea that we want to play MMOs together, and that only works when people treat each other with respect. We expect members to avoid insulting others, creating unnecessary drama or talking down to people because they’ve made a mistake or lack experience.

If someone’s struggling, help them rather than complain about them. Everyone has to learn somewhere, and nobody should feel uncomfortable joining in because they’re worried about being ridiculed.

Deliberately disruptive, hostile or elitist behaviour has no place here. The atmosphere we’re trying to build disappears pretty quickly when someone decides to be a dick.

And before anyone says this contradicts the next point, it doesn’t. It’s the one guiding principle I’ve always taught my kids: just don’t be a dick. Honestly, most of life works pretty well if you stick to that.

    A Family-Friendly Environment

Attitude Gaming is intentionally family-friendly. Some of us have kids who play, some have partners who join in, and others simply prefer a more relaxed atmosphere.

We ask everyone to keep their language reasonable, avoid taking jokes too far and remember that younger players may be around. We also leave real-world politics out of guild chat. We’re here to enjoy our games together, not argue about the state of the world.

The aim is simple: this should be a guild you’d happily let your children or younger relatives join without feeling the need to hover over their shoulder.

    Play Together, Not Alone

Nobody expects you to be online around the clock. Real life comes first, and we all have work, family and other commitments. However, we do ask members to make an effort to be part of the community.

Say hello when you log in, join guild activities when you can, and lend a hand when someone needs it. When you’re doing content with Attitude Gaming, we also ask that you represent the guild so others can see we’re active and playing together.

We’re building a guild for people who want to share their adventures, not simply a collection of players who happen to wear the same tag while quietly soloing in opposite corners of the world.

You don’t have to join every event or be involved in everything. Just make an effort to be part of the group.

    Use Our Guild Tools

Our website, forums and TeamSpeak are central to how we organise ourselves and build the community. They’re not just extras; they’re part of what makes Attitude Gaming different.

    We encourage everyone to:

    • Check the forums for guild news, discussions and announcements.
    • Use the Event Schedule to sign up for raids, dungeons and other activities.
    • Join TeamSpeak for group content where voice communication is useful or needed.

You don’t have to speak if you don’t want to, but for organised events such as raids, you must at least be able to listen.

These tools help us stay organised, keep everyone informed and build a community that doesn’t depend entirely on a third-party chat platform. They also give us a more stable home for our discussions, event planning and guild history.

    Guild Ranks

Guild ranks are based on participation and involvement, not skill, gear score or how much time you can spend online.

    • Recruit: You’ve recently joined and are getting settled in.
    • Casual: You take part in guild activities, but not on a regular schedule.
    • Member: You’re a consistent participant in guild life.
    • Veteran: You’ve been part of the guild for a long time and have helped it grow over the years.
    • Officer: You help run events, manage the guild and look after things such as the website and Event Schedule.
    • Guild Master: The person trying to keep the ship afloat, put out the fires and stop the retirement home from descending into complete chaos.

The principle is straightforward: ranks reflect your involvement in the guild and the contribution you make to the community. You don’t need to be the best player in the game to earn your place here.

    Be Honest and Communicate

If you need to take a break, something is bothering you or you’re unsure about anything, just talk to us.

We won’t remove you simply for taking time away, and we won’t punish you for having real-life commitments. Nobody is expected to be perfect, and we’re not interested in creating unnecessary pressure around a game.

A quick message can prevent misunderstandings and goes a long way towards keeping the community healthy. If there’s a problem, we’d much rather talk it through than let it turn into unnecessary drama.

    Help Shape the Guild

Attitude Gaming is still growing, and we genuinely want members to help shape its future.

Share your ideas, offer feedback, suggest events and tell us what you’d like to see added. Whether it’s a new forum feature, a different type of guild activity or an idea for making the community better, we’re happy to hear it.

This isn’t meant to be a guild where leadership makes every decision and everyone else simply follows along. We want to build something together, with members who feel invested in the community and proud to be part of it.

    Ready to Join Us?

Attitude Gaming exists to give people a place where they feel comfortable, supported and part of something worthwhile. We’re here to enjoy our games, make friends, have a laugh and create a community that lasts.

If that sounds like your kind of guild, you’ll fit right in.

Start by creating an account on our website, then say hello and introduce yourself on the forums. Once you’re registered, you can also browse upcoming activities and sign up through our Event Schedule.

We look forward to meeting you in-game.

    For the Horde!
