Attitude Gaming is a PvE-focused Horde guild built around enjoying raid content in a relaxed, community-driven, old-school MMO environment. Our home is Azeroth, where we’re playing World of Warcraft: Forever and bringing back the kind of guild experience that made WoW special in the first place.

    Why Attitude Gaming Exists

I stepped away from WoW years ago after playing obsessively through Classic, The Burning Crusade, Wrath of the Lich King, Cataclysm, and Mists of Pandaria. For me, Wrath was peak Blizzard and remains the greatest era of WoW. By the time Warlords of Draenor arrived, something had changed. The magic had faded, Blizzard felt like it had lost its way, and eventually, so did my interest.

When Classic relaunched, I didn’t jump back in. The thought of re-gearing, re-clearing old raids, and repeating The Burning Crusade and Wrath all over again just didn’t appeal to me. I love those expansions, but I’m not interested in living in the past. I want new content built around the gameplay I love, not another endless loop of nostalgia.

That’s what caught my attention about World of Warcraft: Forever. The name might leave something to be desired, but the concept is exactly what I’ve been looking for: Classic mechanics, the spirit of old-school MMOs, and new content to explore. The timing couldn’t have been better. For months, I’d been thinking about how much I missed the WoW community, the guilds, the atmosphere, and that feeling of logging in and knowing you were part of something.

So, I decided to build a guild around that experience. A close-knit raid community where we can tackle challenging content, improve together, and enjoy the journey without turning the game into a second job. We’re not aiming to be a sweaty, hardcore raiding guild, but we still want to play well, work as a team, and get the job done.

A Guild That Fits Real Life

Most of us aren’t teenagers with endless hours to spend in-game anymore. We’ve got jobs, families, responsibilities, and limited time. Attitude Gaming is built around that reality. Finish work, sort out the family, put the little demons to bed, and then log in for some quality time with good people.

We want a traditional guild atmosphere, with an active guild chat, familiar voices on comms, and people who actually enjoy spending time together. We use TeamSpeak because we value conversation and community, rather than treating voice chat as nothing more than a tool for raid instructions. I’ve explained why we chose TeamSpeak over Discord in a separate post.

We’ve also got our own guild website and forums. Part of that is nostalgia for the internet of the late ’90s and early 2000s, when online communities had their own little corner of the internet. But it’s practical, too. Our forums give us somewhere to organise events, share ideas, discuss the game, and build a community that exists beyond logging in and out of Azeroth.

We’re not trying to build the biggest guild or the most competitive guild. We want to build a guild that people genuinely look forward to logging into. A place where you recognise the voices on TeamSpeak, know the personalities behind the characters, share a few laughs, and feel like you’re part of the group.

    What We Value

We value teamwork, communication, and a relaxed but focused approach to raiding. We want players who are interested in more than simply turning up for loot. People who enjoy being part of a community, helping one another improve, and contributing to something bigger than their own character.

We value kindness, patience, humour, and not taking ourselves too seriously. You’ll need to be able to laugh at yourself when you accidentally pull half a dungeon, make a questionable tactical decision, or become the reason the raid leader needs another coffee.

That doesn’t mean we don’t care about performance. We want to clear content, play well, and improve as a team. Skill matters, but attitude matters just as much. Be willing to learn, communicate, help others, and pull your weight, and you’ll find people here who want you to succeed.

Ultimately, we’re looking for people who want to be part of a proper guild, not just another name on a raid roster.

    Interested in Joining Us?

If our approach sounds like your kind of thing, take a moment to read our Guild and Community Expectations. It’ll give you a better idea of what we’re about and the kind of community we’re building.

If you like what you see, create an account on our website, say hello, and introduce yourself. You can also browse the forums, get involved in discussions, and sign up for in-game events through our Event Schedule.

We’re building this community one player at a time, and we’d rather have a smaller group of people who genuinely enjoy playing together than a massive roster of strangers.

Welcome to Attitude Gaming. A place to raid, relax, have a laugh, and rediscover what made being part of a WoW guild so special. If that sounds like the kind of experience you’ve been missing, you might just have found your home.
